Hillandale Farms is in search a Administrative Assistant- Human Resources (Bi-lingual Haitian Creole/ English) to join our team in Bozrah, CT Location

Essential Job Functions
- Translating conversations, manager and safety trainings, New Hire Orientations, Benefit enrollment and administration of benefits as required, etc.
- Translates written documents from English to Haitian Creole and from Haitian Creole to English.
- Receives, reviews and logs employment applications. Contacts applicants and schedules interviews with Managers.
- Greets and directs guests visiting the location.
- Assists Haitian Creole speaking employees with work related processes as needed to assure clear communication.
- Assists in the preparation of documentation needed for employee meetings, Open Enrollment Period for Benefits, employee meetings, and all necessary/required additional employee informational materials.
- Personnel filing.
- Flexible availability required to assist other departments with translating abilities as needed.
- Requires the ability to write using standard conventions in English and Haitian Creole.
- Performs other work related projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English and Haitian Creole fluently.
- Two years of experience in a confidential office environment or HR role.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Physical Effort/ Work Environment
Able to sit for long periods in an office environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. use of stairs, bending, kneeling and stooping in order to perform job duties.
