Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to cook in a unique environment: an outdoor woodfired grill. A more accurate description would be Grill Master. Homemade pizza, pasta, soups, burgers, sandwiches, fries, ice cream. All healthy and delicious. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and grilling, food management, and kitchen operations. This role requires creativity, leadership, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences through innovative cuisine and effective kitchen management.
Responsibilities
- Understand and collaborate on a unique healthy menus and theme.
- Cook “Bennihanna” style Woodfired grill meals table side for special groups.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Manage food inventory, including ordering, storage, and waste reduction practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Coordinate banquet and catering services for special events, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall dining experience and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within restaurants or catering services.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in menu planning, food management, and banquet services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff effectively.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
