Hillbilly Bob’s Winery & Woodfired BBQ is seeking an experienced managerial and culinary savant that understands an outside the box food, beverage and entertainment vision. This is an outdoor country bbq and entertainment space with a small winery as well.

It’s called Hillbilly Bobs for a reason. A no-frills down home unique place unlike you have ever seen. Where healthy delicious food with down home country feel topped with unmatchable customer service.

Hillbilly Bobs believes at its core that any disease can be cured with nutrition. That’s a foreign concept in a country where 5% of the world consumes 25% of the drugs. We believe however that we don’t need any drugs or pills. Our recipe for health- great fresh nutritious food and drink. Sunlight, relaxing at the end of a tough week or day, feeding the soul with good healthy people in a healthy environment filled with art and down home country entertainment and hospitality.

A manager will oversee friendly and enthusiastic servers and kitchen staff to open a new and quite unique winery and woodfired grill with live entertainment and other artistic endeavors in May 2025. Bar will be open in the afternoons and early evenings. Restaurant and venue only on weekends for now. If you’re a beer maker big plus!

The ideal candidates will have a passion for unmatched customer service, positive upbeat personality, and a commitment to providing exceptional country hospitality in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the selling of guests on the wonders of our soon to be world famous ”healthy” wine, beer and probiotic drinks and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience at Hillbilly Bob’s! Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in food service management, specifically within quick service fast food or restaurant settings. This role requires effective budgeting, shift management, and kitchen oversight to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Oversee budgeting processes, including cost control and financial reporting.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and compliance with health regulations.
• Conduct interviews and hire staff, providing training and development to ensure a skilled workforce.
• Implement effective shift management practices to optimize staff performance and maintain operational flow.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
• Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with upper management on strategic planning and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant or food service management, preferably in a quick service fast food environment.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent budgeting skills with a focus on financial accountability.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members.
• Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of service.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus for establishments focusing on beverage service.
• Previous experience in hotel management is advantageous but not required.
