Job Summary
HillCo, LLC, a leading supplier of beekeeping equipment, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, including Accounts Receiveable, Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, and Inventory Tracking in a fast growing business. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Duties
- Assist with accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Assist with accounts payable processes, including bill payments and inventory tracking.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
Skills
- Ability to use Google Docs and Sheets proficiently
- Able to problem-solve, find solutions, and learn new things independently
- Good typing skills
- Excels in basic math
- Solid communication skills
- Self motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
- Experience with accounting/office work is preferred
We prefer candidates who are able to work full-time in the office. However, we are open to considering exceptional candidates who require a hybrid arrangement (partly remote and partly in-office) or possibly even a fully remote position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
