Hillcrest Academy in Bayville, NJ is looking for friendly, energetic, hard-working child care assistants to join our team. Hillcrest is a licensed childcare center, caring for and teaching infants through Pre-K, with an aftercare program for children up to 13 years olds.
Job Description: Full-time and Part-time Assistants who will assist in providing basic care and care-giving activities, use a wide range of teaching methods to enhance the childrens' abilities, demonstrate superior communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children, identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action, collaborate with other colleagues, adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources, and efficiently maintain a sanitary classroom environment.
Hours: Mon-Fri; reporting hours may vary (center is open 6:30 am to 6:30 pm)
First Aid/CPR certification required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
