Essential Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Hillcrest personnel policies.
- Complete and conduct diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and authorizations as required by insurance payers.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy and home settings
- Maintain consistent and ongoing communication with families to provide updates on clients' progress.
- Determine DSM-5 diagnoses and use evidence-based treatment methods
- Meet weekly billing and documentation expectations.
- Implement student curriculums on stress management, suicide prevention, and substance abuse.
- Conduct universal screenings for early identification of mental health issues
- Administer the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS) and other assessments.
- Document and maintain accurate client contacts, referrals, and necessary information
- Must respect cultural diversity and integrate family values into treatment.
- Complete and review treatment and crisis plans regularly. Apply crisis management skills as needed.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records.
- Comply with state and federal confidentiality regulations.
- Maintain monthly statistics and reporting requirements
- Participate in case reviews, treatment team meetings, and organizational meetings.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, and/or a related field.
- MUST have an active License in the District of Columbia (LGPC, LGSW, LPC, LICSW)
- Proficient communication in English required; Spanish or another language preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations and knowledge of patient confidentiality issues and HIPAA compliance/regulation.
