Summary:

The primary responsibility of a dishwasher is to ensure the cleanliness and organization of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Job Tasks/Duties:

· Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using dishwashing equipment.

· Ensuring that items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free of food residue.

· Sorting and stacking clean dishes appropriately for storage.

· Assisting with kitchen cleanliness by cleaning work areas, countertops, and equipment.

· Handling waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures.

· Supporting kitchen staff with other tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Ability to bend, stretch, walk, stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Work in hot, humid, slippery, and wet conditions.

· Able to work in a busy, noisy environment.

· Tolerate exposure to cleaning agents.
