Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for the care and upkeep of our fleet of golf carts and ensuring the pristine condition of our members' golf bags. Your attention to detail will guarantee that each cart is stocked with necessary supplies and meticulously maintained to meet safety standards. You will serve as a welcoming presence to our members and their guests, helping with loading and unloading golf bags, offering guidance on cart operation, and imparting knowledge on course etiquette. Your friendly and approachable demeanor will contribute to the positive atmosphere of our golf course, fostering a sense of camaraderie among players. You will be expected to meet and greet members and guests warmly, enhancing their overall experience. You will also assist with the coordination of special events and tournaments, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and efficiently. Your flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond will be instrumental in delivering memorable experiences for our members and guests.
Job Duties (including but not limited to):
- Provide excellent customer service to golfers.
- Maintain golf carts and ensure they are stocked with supplies.
- Manage the staging area for efficient play.
- Assist with loading and unloading golf bags.
- Instruct players on cart operation and course etiquette.
- Perform routine maintenance on golf carts.
- Retrieve and return golf carts.
- Support special events and tournaments.
- Transport range balls and maintain the driving range.
- Clean and maintain golf carts and equipment.
- Manage the lost and found.
- Ensure the Bag Storage Room is organized.
- Demonstrate knowledge of golf and its rules to assist players effectively.
Licenses and Special Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
