About the Job
We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Hillcrest Family Services. As a key member of our counseling team, you will provide therapeutic services to clients dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and relationship difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling and be able to apply the theories and techniques of therapy in the clinical setting. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy and the ability to build rapport with clients, as well as excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities include assessing client needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. You will also coordinate with other professionals, assist clients in accessing additional mental health resources, and maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions.
