Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, hospice care, and home community care. Your role will involve supporting residents' rights, assisting with heavy lifting when necessary, and working with people with developmental disabilities and dementia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Support individuals with mobility issues and help them with physical exercises
- Administer medication under supervision of healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment for those under your care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or nursing home settings
- Knowledge of resident rights and best practices in caregiving
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist individuals with mobility challenges
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and dementia is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
