- Takes the initiative to implement nursing’s objective as directed by the Administrator. Compliance measured by having a goal-oriented approach and positive attitude when implementing a developed action plan.
- Demonstrates ability to critically think, plan, organize and problem solve needs of the department and takes the initiative to implement objectives resulting in favorable outcomes.
- Coordinate the nursing care program and activities in the Cottages in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Serves as coach and mentor to the team members.
- Develops the clinical care budgets and maintains the budgets throughout the year.
- Review complaints and grievances and make necessary oral/written reports to the Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least five years’ experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
- At least three years leadership experience as a unit manager, ADON or DON preferred.
- Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a Registered Nurse.
