- Completes evaluations for referred individuals, utilizes appropriate tests and measures establishing a timely plan of care in compliance with departmental standards and federal and state regulations.
- Completes patient treatments efficiently in accordance with plan of care progressing patient as appropriate to achieve established goals.
- Accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services within facility guidelines.
- Manages each patient’s plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed.
- Supervises, collaborates, and delegates appropriate care to assistants, techs, and other support personnel per federal and state regulations.
- Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program required.
- At least two years’ experience performing Occupational Therapy in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, home care or similar setting preferred.
- Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska as an Occupational Therapist.
- BLS certification by the AHA required.
