Hillcrest Health & Living is a forward-thinking healthcare organization that seeks an Insurance Navigation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the workflow of service line navigators in receiving, reviewing, and approving acute referrals to Skilled Nursing Rehab. Your expertise will ensure seamless transitions and high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to gather and process incoming referrals according to established post-acute referral processes. You will conduct medical reviews to determine accurate placement for patients and provide exceptional customer experiences. Additionally, you will verify insurance coverage and authorizations accurately and timely for all customers referred to our service lines. When on call or covering PTO, you will process assigned referrals efficiently and effectively, following established protocols and workflows.
