Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking an Insurance Navigation Specialist to support our service line navigators in receiving, reviewing, approving and coordinating acute referrals to Skilled Nursing Rehab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for direct workflow support including gather and processing all incoming referrals in accordance with the post-acute referral process.

Your Responsibilities
- Gather and process all incoming referrals in accordance with the post-acute referral process
- Conduct medical review for referrals based on established admission and financial criteria for service lines
- Data entry into the EMR, CRM, insurance verification and insurance authorization platforms
- Verification of all insurance coverage and authorizations accurately and timely for all customers referred to the service line

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of experience in administrative business office functions required
- Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Windows and MS Office required
- Experience in healthcare services including acute and post-acute services preferred
- Experience with handling admissions for acute or post-acute rehab and long-term care preferred
