Hillcrest Health Services is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join the Home Care team in Lincoln, NE!

A Physical Therapist enhances the lives of individuals by utilizing their assessment and evaluative skills to determine an appropriate physical therapy plan using evidence-based treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability in order to thrive best in their own home.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Completes evaluations for referred individuals, utilizes appropriate tests and measures establishing a timely plan of care in compliance with departmental standards and federal and state regulations.
• Completes patient treatments efficiently in accordance with plan of care progressing patient as appropriate to achieve established goals.
• Manages each patient’s plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed.
• Supervises, collaborates, and delegates appropriate care to assistants and other support personnel per federal and state regulations.
  
  

What should I have to be considered?

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program required.
• Ability to work autonomously but also part of an interdisciplinary team, good communication skills and a love for working with the geriatric population.
• Experience preferred but will consider a new graduate.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a physical therapist.
• BLS certification by the AHA required.
