- Collaborates with supervising physical therapist to effectively plan transition of patients between service lines.
- Completes patient treatments efficiently in accordance with plan of care progressing patient as appropriate to achieve established goals.
- Completes accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services.
- Manages each patient’s plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed.
- Collaborates with and delegates appropriate tasks to techs and other support personnel per federal and state regulations.
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program required.
- At least two years of experience performing as a physical therapy assistant in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, home care or similar setting preferred.
- Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a physical therapist assistant.
- BLS certification by the AHA required.
