Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking an Admission/Wound Nurse for our Hillcrest Millard!
Monday-Friday with some weekends as needed for on-call or nursing rotation.

- Completes head to toe assessments on new admissions and completes all new admission assessments in the EMR.
- Complete weekly wound rounds measuring wounds, doing treatments and documenting progress for QAPI.
- Keep inventory of wound supplies and inform the Clinical Support Assistant when they need to be ordered.
- Report outbreaks/positives to the health department and/or DHHS.
- Reviews care plans of each patient, making changes as the patient’s condition or plan of care changes and complete an admission care plan.
- Track and monitor Infection Control Log on a weekly basis.
- Assist Occupational Therapy with wound vac changes and document changes to wounds.
- STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
- One year of experience in a long term care, post-acute, hospital or similar setting preferred.
- Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Wound certification and Infection Prevention certification.
