- Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology.
- Perform daily turnover and terminal cleaning of surgical suites including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment.
- Transport patient beds and stretchers as necessary from patient areas to surgical suites.
- Assist with positioning and prepping the surgical patient, stocking supplies for the department, and delivering surgical specimens.
- With appropriate training, they may scrub to assist in the surgical field to hold limbs, retractors, or cameras.
- Follow all guidelines set forth by the AORN Standards and Practices.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Six months of experience as a patient care tech or surgical orderly
