General Purpose :
Support The Mason Center for Healthcare Education in various educational and certification classes including but not limited to C.N.A., Medication Assistant, IV skills for Nurses, and CPR.
Essential Job Functions
This organization expects their employees to do whatever is necessary to promote an atmosphere of teamwork with other employees and hospitality and comfort for its residents. Therefore, the following list is not all-inclusive :
- Work cooperatively with the Executive Director in assessing training needs and plan programs to meet these needs adhering to all regulatory requirements of various agencies.
- Meet the basic requirements of the State of TN Dept. of Health and Tennessee Higher Education Commission for instructing the various certifications taught at The Mason Center for Healthcare Education.
- Provide lectures and hands-on instruction for students in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete all required paperwork, including but not limited to attendance records, grade sheets, and progress reports
- Conduct clinicals
- Work as a team with the other instructor and Executive Director for the best delivery of student services
- Collaborate with other professional members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Attending meetings as required by supervisor.
- Adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Work with various students who may have physical, mental, and developmental disabilities.
- Manage supplies and inventory in a fiscally responsible way.
- Be prompt and on time according to schedule.
- Present to students, staff, and facilities in a cheerful, positive manner.
- Knowledge of the use of adaptive equipment (i.e., slide boards, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.)
