Job Title : Respiratory Therapist
Job Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)
Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided
Experience : Extensive experience in Adult ICU, Adult Med / Surg, and ER. Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonate / pediatrics required.
License : Valid nurse or allied license required
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
Must-Have : Extensive weekend-night experience, not accepting first-time travelers, all required certifications in hand
Job Description :
- Provide respiratory care services in alignment with hospital protocols and professional respiratory therapy standards.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal / pediatric care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in adult ICU, Med / Surg, and ER settings.
- Ensure the effective operation of respiratory therapy equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Follow hospital policies for patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain ongoing certification requirements.
- Wear green scrubs as part of the hospital's uniform policy.
- Float to similar units as needed based on facility requirements, following a brief orientation in each unit.
- Complete on-site module training during orientation sessions.
