- Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.
Responsibilities
- Assumes overall accountability, leadership, responsibility for the delegation and coordination of patient care within the unit.
- Utilizes knowledge bases of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Responds to life threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
- Organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS. ACLS must be obtained within 30 of hire.
- Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 3 years RN experience.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous Med Surg or leadership experience.
