Primary Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including x-ray rooms, c-arms, and portable units.
- Facilitate patient transport, manage call responsibilities, and maintain patient support equipment.
- Clean and maintain equipment and rooms, restock supplies, and assist with procedural interventions.
- Partner with the supervisor to coordinate efficient department operations.
- Hold current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or work towards achieving eligibility within a year.
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards while limiting examination repeats.
- Exemplify extensive knowledge of x-ray technology, human anatomy, and positioning methods.
- Illustrate multitasking prowess, along with superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Elevate patient satisfaction by orchestrating seamless exam preparation and scanning sequences.
- Provide assistance during patient relocation and display comprehension of intravenous and oral contrast agents.
- Take part in performance enhancement programs and make valuable contributions to daily department operations.
