Job Description:
We are seeking a PRN Radiology/X-Ray Technician to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital Pryor.
About Us:
Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital providing a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate x-ray rooms, c-arms, and portables in a safe and proficient manner.
- Transport patients, handle telephone calls for scheduling patients, answer questions related to reports of exams.
- Clean rooms and equipment, order supplies, assist physicians with invasive procedures and administer basic C.P.R.
Requirements:
- Current student of or graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible.
- Maintain a high standard of imaging with a minimum of repeats.
- Thorough knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy and positioning.
Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
- Helpful attitude towards patients, their families, office personnel, physicians, and associates.
- Able to coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
