This role involves performing various specimen collection tasks, including venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instructions, and specimen culture collection instructions.
Qualifications
To be a strong candidate for this position, you should possess:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience
- Nationally recognized certification, such as NHA, ASCP, AMT, NCCT, or ACA
Previous experience in the clinical setting is a plus.
