Responsibilities:
- Perform PCT duties, including clerical tasks under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) and unit manager.
- Assist with patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, transporting patients, passing meal trays, delivering hygiene care, and answering inquiries within scope of practice.
- Support nursing staff by receiving patients at the desk, taking patients to appropriate rooms, providing initial instruction, assisting with discharged patients, and answering inquiries.
- Act as unit receptionist, assign patients to rooms, alert nursing staff to patient arrival, pull and prepare charts, order and monitor supplies, and assist with stocking supplies and maintaining organized nursing stations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience
- Oklahoma Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician licensure
Salary:
$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
