- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for data entering, gathering, and primary source verification of healthcare practitioner information, including in-depth detailed and/or challenging research of information.
- Primary methods of source verification include email, internet, phone, and letters.
- Prepping credential files for Department Chairs, Collect QA reports for Committee review.
- Process board approval letters for initial and reappointment files.
- Assist with proctoring/FPPE process:
- Collect activity and QA data for proctoring evaluation, send out proctoring evaluations to proctor, follow up on proctoring / FPPE evaluations and prepare proctoring documents for Department Chair review.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of credentialing or related healthcare field experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Certified Credentialing Specialist is preferred.
