Part-Time Janitor/Custodian

Job Summary:

Hillcrest Trailers, LLC. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor / Custodian to maintain cleanliness and organization at our trailer manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and sanitary work environment for our employees and customers by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, break rooms, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, countertops, and handrails.
• Maintain cleanliness in the shop and manufacturing areas, including sweeping and dust control.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and light fixtures as required.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., leaking faucets, broken fixtures).
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and shop noise.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time position, approximately 20-30 hours per week.
• Flexible scheduling available within operating hours.
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
