Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from various destinations, including home, social activities, and other essential services.
- Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate wheelchair lifts and securement systems as needed.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and dispatchers.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving and assisting individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to operate wheelchair lifts and securement systems.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop as necessary to the environment and have the ability to lift 35 lbs. occasionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
