What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher (10 hour shifts 2-4 days per week) position at Hilldale Christian Child Care Center?
We are experimenting with a longer work shift (approximately 10 hour shifts) for 2-4 days per week. Ideally a few people could work 3 days per week and be on call for one day per week.
General Duties:
- Assist Lead Teacher in planning and executing an educational program in line with center values, beliefs, and philosophies.
- Provide individualized, quality, loving care for children in all classrooms.
- Model Christian values for children, families, and co-workers.
- Instruct and provide care according to current DHS License Regulations and the Environmental Rating Scale.
- Assist in mealtime supervision at all times.
- Various other duties as assigned by Director, Assistant Director, and Supervisors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
