What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Judaic Teachers position at Hillel Academy of Pittsburgh?
Hillel Academy is a warm and welcoming Orthodox day school located in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. We strive to maintain a culture of respect and growth among our staff and student body while inclulcating our students with a love of HaShem and His Torah. We are looking for dynamic Rebbeim and Moros to serve as elementary school (Kindergarten-4th grade) teachers in our fast growing school.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Creating lesson plans
- Supports and instructs students in all Judaic subjects
- Engages stakeholders and creates an atmosphere for learning that supports our school improvement goals
- Plan and deliver effective instruction to students individually and in groups
- Develop a love for learning Torah and growth with our students
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning of all students
- Use data to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
- Perform other related duties as required by school leadership
