Role Overview
Columbia / Barnard Hillel is seeking an organized, data-driven, and strategically minded individual with strong communication and bookkeeping skills to serve as the Data and Finance Coordinator. This role will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the Development and Student Life teams to provide and interpret data, process payroll, manage financial operations, and more. This is a full-time in-person position in New York City.
What You'll Do
Data Responsibilities
- Analyze data across systems to identify opportunities for growth in operations, development, and student life.
- Conduct regular data cleaning and updates across organizational software platforms.
- Reconcile data between Little Green Light, QuickBooks, and Chase every two months.
- Build queries and generate custom reports in user-friendly formats.
- Review data to advise the Director of Operations and Director of Development on areas of need.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Learn new software efficiently and troubleshoot challenges effectively.
- Maintain best practices for data management, including proper coding and account organization.
