Job description
Hilley & Solis Law Firm is seeking a bilingual preferred Litigation or Personal Injury Paralegal to become part of our team. We are looking for a self-motivated person that can yield results while working under pressure, can draft demands, negotiate offers with attorney supervision, and manage a case from beginning to end - including PD, treatment phase, demand drafting, negotiating and settlement. The ideal candidate is someone with experience working independently while managing a high-volume workload. Said candidate will be a quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills, reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile for our clients while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude.
Qualifications:
- College degree is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in Litigation or Personal Injury experience is required
- Strong understanding of litigation terminology
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Analytical skills and detail oriented
- Case management and organizational skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Reviewing cases for missing documentation before filing
- Preparing lawsuits and have suits served
- Preparing written discovery
- Setting up depositions
- Notifying clients of obligations, deadlines
- Managing attorney's calendar
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery as needed
- Filing case pleadings/motions and following up with court or third-party company
- Receive and maintain attorney’s mail and faxes
Base compensation package:
- Starting Salary commensurate with experience
- Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 8-hour shift
- Available to work overtime when necessary
- Work Location: In person

Salary : $25 - $32
