Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide couples, marriage, family, and individual counseling sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Utilize evidence-based practices.
- Stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with standard practices.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the State of Texas.
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy and mental health counseling.
- Experience with patient assessment and care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation.
- Skills in psychotherapy and crisis intervention.
- Experience working with couples and families.
