What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Beertender (Manager in Training) position at Hillman Beer?
This position will assume the responsibility of improving our level of service which includes maximization of guest satisfaction and staff development within established SOP’s and quality standards. This position will ensure compliance with all company SOP’s and processes to provide for the safety of our guests & staff and to promote fairness, consistency and cohesion in all areas of the brewery. This position performs to the benefit of and as a steward of the brand while exhibiting and building the Hillman Beer culture.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The primary role of this position is the maximization of all aspects of the guest experience and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Supports an exemplary customer service culture that creates a memorable experience that our guests seek to repeat again and again by meeting the highest standards of service, cleanliness and speed of service.
- Provides initial, recurrent and ongoing training to front of house staff in all areas of responsibility.
- After initial training has occurred this position monitors the performance of each staff member in perpetuity providing on the spot feedback and if necessary makes recommendations to general management that recurrent training is required.
- Ensure all training documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensures adherence to company SOP’s, operations manuals and other procedures.
- Continuously monitors staff members and makes corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance with all SOP’s, operations manuals and other procedures at all times.
- Alerts general management of continued non-compliance issues.
- Acts as point of contact in the absence of general management for all staff and guest needs.
- Effectively responds to peer, team member and management feedback.
- Maintains a professional image and collaborative attitude at all times.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned including but not limited to marketing, and social media management and implementation, driving company vehicles, coordinating and participating in staff appreciation days and other tasks as assigned by the management team.
- Other duties as assigned
