Job Description
The Senior Laboratory Analyst will conduct tests and analyze samples in a laboratory setting to support research, product development, quality control, and other scientific investigations. This role follows proper QA/QC procedures for all types of analysis set forth by Hillmann Lab policies as well as Federal and State Regulations.
- Perform analysis on materials and samples as requested or assigned.
- Analyze and record data related to test method results.
- Analyze PT samples to stay accredited with Federal and State agencies.
- Calibrate and clean equipment to ensure that equipment works properly and the lab remains safe.
- Proofread lab reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to customer service and safety. Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a science-related field and 1-2 years' experience with PCM & PLM sample prep and analysis, 1-2 years' experience using a TEM microscope for asbestos analysis, Fungal Spore Analysis, and Combustion By-Product analysis.
