Now offering a FULL-TIME summer temp Direct Support Professional/Job Coach position!

Hills & Dales is a non-profit organization dedicated to building meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities. We are seeking passionate Job Coach to support our clients develop and use specific job and work skills to fulfill their potential. The Job Coach will guide people of various abilities to find ways to become active members of the community by building meaningful lives for the clients we serve and for enhancing the quality of their lives. As a Job Coach, you'll show clients how they can apply their natural gifts and talents to their work responsibilities, and you'll help them develop the social and job-related skills necessary to navigate the workplace.

Starting Wage: $18.25/hour

Schedule Options:

• Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

Support clients in the workplace to build independence and achieve employment goals.

Follow individualized plans and provide coaching using proven strategies.

Assist with transportation, personal care, and workplace accommodations as needed.

Maintain respectful, professional relationships and promote client dignity.

Communicate with employers and team members to ensure success on the job.

Accurately document services and client progress.

Follow all safety protocols and respond to health or behavioral needs.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated concern for others and alignment with the mission of Hills & Dales.
• Ability to assertively communicate and advocate for clients.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screen, and driving record check.
• Valid drivers license and the use of personal vehicle.
