Job Description
Hills Flat Lumber is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Contractor Services Counter Sales Associate to join our dynamic Grass Valley, CA team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all types of building materials and their applications in the field. Point of Sale (POS) experience is a must. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment and being team-oriented. Experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers/contractors with selecting and purchasing building materials.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide expert advice on the application and use of various building materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current building material trends, products and local building codes.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Lumber Yard/Building Materials: 2 years (Required)
- Point of Sale: 2 years (Required)
Work Location:
- In person at our Grass Valley, CA store
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
