Job Description:
The Ground Instructor position is responsible for providing quality classroom ground training for airplane Private, Instrument, and Commercial. This role ensures students' satisfactory progress through assigned courses and promotes an engaging learning environment. Both full time and part time positions available.
Job Duties:
- Classroom Training: Lead and facilitate ground training sessions, ensuring a high standard of quality.
- Student Progress: Monitor ground students' timely progress towards written tests and course completion, while providing excellent customer service.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work with school management to maintain effective communication between students, instructors, staff, and customers.
- Support other Ground Instructors during high class load, vacation, sick, or other leave, showing initiative and teamwork.
- Additional Duties: Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by HAA management.
- Team Meetings: Attend recurring Ground Instructor team meetings. Contribute input to further improve ground training programs.
Qualifications:
- For Private ground: AGI or Certified Flight Instructor
- For Instrument Ground: IGI or Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument.
- For Multi-Engine Commercial Ground: AGI or Multi-Engine Instructor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Flight Instructor
