The Position
In support of remote and complex operations around the world, we offer extensive aircraft parts inventory and dedicated shipping services to ensure rapid AOG response 24/7/365. We maintain relationships with over 55 manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers, and we leverage those relationships to provide exceptional customer service and competitive pricing to our customers
As a Parts Manager, you will work closely with the Parts team and Fleet to manage operations ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, employee development, and compliance. You will report to the Director of Maintenance and will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
- Strategically manage parts and tool inventory for maximum accuracy, transparency, and organization
- Ultimate responsibility of parts inventory, including providing the accounting department with timely information relating to inventory control
- Ultimate responsibility for shipping/receiving related to fleet operations and AOG situations.
- Ultimate responsibility of tool inventory, including providing fleet and service center customers with efficient solutions to check in/out tools in an organized manner
- Ultimate responsibility of consumables inventory, including tracking and removing expired items from circulation

Job Responsibilities
- Lead team to ensure employee commitment, customer satisfaction, and financial sustainability
- Maintain and develop customer relationships and promote Hillsboro Aviation throughout the industry
- Strategically manage parts and tool inventory for maximum accuracy, transparency, and organization
- Ultimate responsibility of parts inventory, including providing the accounting department with timely information relating to inventory control
- Ultimate responsibility for shipping/receiving related to fleet operations and AOG situations.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for fleet and service center customers
- Maximize planned orders to take full advantage of prior year pricing and minimize our AOG rate with key vendors
- Ultimate responsibility of tool inventory, including providing fleet and service center customers with efficient solutions to check in/out tools in an organized manner
- Ultimate responsibility of consumables inventory, including tracking and removing expired items from circulation
- Follow safe storage and handling procedures for life limited parts and materials, including removing expired items from inventory and/or circulation
- Create, manage, and maintain vendor relationships
- Responsible for supporting FAA Part 145 Repair Station and AS9110 requirements, including but not limited to tool calibration
- Purchase aircraft components worldwide
- Analyze market trends to ensure advantageous pricing
- Provide price analysis and evaluations
- Create purchase orders
- Verify proper payment
- Ultimate responsibility for shipping and receiving functions, including but not limited to receiving inspections
- Follow proper shipping procedures for transportation of goods including international shipments and hazardous materials
- Conduct weekly cycle count of inventory
- Responsible for inventory and distribution of company uniforms.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications/Licenses
- Must possess an unrestricted driver’s license\
- Minimum of 4 years of aviation parts procurement experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Greater than ten years industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent aviation industry experience
