POSITION SUMMARY
Provides comprehensive Gastroenterology medical care to all patients served by Hillsboro Medical Center. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept and reflects our values of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence and Integrity.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
About the Team:
- Our practice is growing; join a stable 5-person group that is expanding
- Enjoy a congenial, collaborative environment and excellent rapport with clinic staff
- 50:50 Endoscopy to Clinic split
- 32 hours per week of direct patient care; 8 hours clinical administrative time
- Call is currently every 4th week for 1 week at a time
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school with appropriate residency training
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (Licensed in Oregon)
- Active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership
- Demonstrates skill in caring for specialty-related patients
- Uses effective communication skills to work with patients, families and co-workers in "simple” as well as in “difficult” situations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
