GENERAL DUTIES
Provide training required by the State Department of Education and the Department of Motor Vehicles in licensing school bus drivers for the District.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
- Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid Oregon School Bus Driver’s Certificate or be able to obtain both within 60 days
- Familiarity with the geographic area inside the District boundaries
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Have 2 years’ experience with a class B CDL.
- Have 1-year experience as a school bus driver with a current School Bus Drivers Certificate.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Google Drive applications.
- Previous teaching experience a benefit.
