School Psychologist (1.0 FTE) Regular - School Psychologist (0.2 FTE) Temporary | Date Needed: ASAP | 10 month calendar | REPOSTED until filled

GENERAL DUTIES:

Provide a wide range of evaluation and consultation services to assist in decisions relative to students with disabilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A valid State of Oregon Teaching License appropriate for the position
• A minimum of Master’s Degree in School Psychology
• A valid Oregon Driver’s license and reliable transportation for on the job travel
• Training and experience in evaluation techniques and in working with students with disabilities, including but not limited to cognitive, academic, personality, social/emotional and behavioral assessments
• Working knowledge of IDEA and 504 statutes, regulations, and procedures
• The ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Proficient of oral and written communication skills in English
• The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures or backgrounds
• The ability to maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or District patrons
• The ability to work harmoniously with others
• Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
• The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District
