Schedule: Full Time, Part-time, Per Diem
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Head Nurse, the LNA is responsible for carrying out assigned functions as delegated by the professional nurse in order to support and complement standards of nursing practice.
General Responsibilities:
The LNA will provide direct care to Nursing Home residents which include all activities of daily living; some medical monitoring and treatment as allowed by policy; ancillary services such as cleaning duties. Ability to operate wheelchairs, Geri-chairs, bathing equipment, mechanical lifting devices and lift boards. Ability to document care within State and Federal regulations and facility policy.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or combination of education, training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities
· Successful completion of the New Hampshire state approved LNA program
· Current New Hampshire LNA license
