Location: Sligh Middle School
Position Summary
The Art Teacher is responsible for the instruction of art content in a classroom setting within grade levels K-12.
Qualifications
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Art or eligibility for Florida Temporary Art Certificate required.
Language Skills: Reads, analyzes, and interprets all kinds of documents. Responds to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or the community. Writes speeches and effectively presents them to managers, the public, and the school board.
Mathematical Skills: Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
