Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing information about menu items and accommodating dietary restrictions as needed.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring that all items meet health and safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, if applicable.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of food safety practices and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
