Job Summary:
The Maintenance / Landscape Assistant supports the upkeep and presentation of the hotel grounds, landscaping, and basic maintenance tasks. This position ensures that the property's exterior and interior spaces remain functional, safe, and visually appealing for guests and staff.
Job Description:

Assist in the care and maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, and other landscape elements around the hotel grounds.

Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and effectively.

Perform minor maintenance repairs including painting, changing lightbulbs, fixing fixtures, and assisting with basic plumbing and electrical work.

Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs.

Ensure outdoor spaces (walkways, patios, entrances) are clean, tidy, and free of debris.

Assist with seasonal tasks such as mulching, planting, trimming, and snow/ice removal (as needed).

Respond promptly to guest or management maintenance requests.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscaping or maintenance roles preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
