Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a motivated and hardworking Part-Time Bar Back to support our bartenders and ensure smooth operations in our bar area. This role is critical to maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient workspace that allows our team to deliver exceptional service to guests. Where You Can Make an Impact
- Assist bartenders by restocking and organizing supplies, including glassware, beverages, garnishes, and ice.
- Ensure bar areas are clean and well-maintained throughout shifts, including wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and emptying trash.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the bar manager or bartender.
- Collect and wash used glassware and bar tools promptly to keep the bar fully stocked.
- Help set up and break down the bar area for events or daily operations.
- Support bartenders during peak hours by assisting with prep tasks and maintaining a steady flow of service.
- Follow health and safety standards, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Deliver excellent customer service by interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner when needed.
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment is a plus but not required.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support bartenders and ensure smooth operations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks.
