Nurse LVN/RN

Hillside Medical Lodge is a warm and welcoming senior care facility nestled in the heart of Gatesville, Texas. Our team is passionate about enhancing the lives of our residents, and we are looking for dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join us in this important mission.

Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide exceptional nursing care to our residents. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with seniors and make a tangible difference in their daily lives. You will utilize your clinical expertise to ensure the comfort, health, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
• Assess residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and other necessary procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, promoting independence and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Experience in a long-term care or senior care setting is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
• Rotating weekend schedule.

Compensation and Benefits:

• LVN: Starting at $30.00 per hour, with increased pay based on experience.
• RN: Starting at $35.00 per hour, with increased pay based on experience.
