The Payroll/Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of facility payroll through use of Ceridian.

The Payroll/Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of facility payroll through use of Ceridian.
Job Duties:
- Verifying and entering Dayforce timekeeping information
- Maintaining, updating and filing required payroll/personnel forms for all active employees. Examples include: W-4,/state tax form, background check verification, handbook acknowledgement, Mantoux administration, employee physical records etc.
- Managing any employee relations issues and conducting investigations
- Managing the full cycle of recruiting for the facility
- Processing monthly bills for insurance carriers and submitting to accounts payable for payment. Advising appropriate insurance carrier of errors/discrepancies.
- Processing unemployment compensation claims and attending hearings as needed.
- Processing worker’s compensation claims and tracking wage continuation as requested. Participating in safety committee meetings as required.
- Providing and conducting employment verification with outside organizations in compliance with current policy.
- Actively participates in New Employee Orientation to review current payroll policies and providing benefit information to new hires eligible for such coverage.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
- Human Resources experience preferred.
- Previous LTC experience preferred
- Knowledge of payroll system and timekeeping system Dayforce, with the ability to interpret information, generate reports and problem solve.
