Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Schedule: 2 to 3, 8 hour shifts a week on Assisted Living.
Duties
- Perform residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed to ensure cleanliness.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain the appearance of various surfaces.
- Provide custodial services in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and presentable.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences effectively.
- Cook light meals or snacks when required, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and materials to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the job location or duties assigned.
